Mercedes Confirms First AMG Sport Models

Mercedes is on the roll with another great idea in automotive perfection. They are expanding their portfolio to offer a more accessible AMG Sports package. With upgraded features such as engines, suspensions and brakes and a special “all wheel drive” option in select markets, Mercedes will bolster their efforts to double their 2013 sales figures by 2017 selling a projected 40K units annually.

Mercedes is attempting to increase growth aimed at new market segments and debut these new AMG packages at the North American International Motor Show in Detroit.

The new packages will come by the name of AMG Sport and will offer a variety of enhancements to fill in the gaps between this package and the classic AMG models. It is Mercedes hopes that by opening up new market segments that their sales potential will increase worldwide.More to come as we discover it, we will be sure to tell you all about it.
