Besides the fact that it is being sold right here in the Houston area, the most intriguing reason to buy this car, if you are in the market, is because of its previous owner. The former owner of this McLaren 722 is none other than the legendary basketball star, Michael Jordan!

This amazing vehicle made its recent debut on Autotrader with the following specs:

This is no ordinary McLelan either (as if there is anything ordinary about this vehicle to begin with) and features a modified 5.5-liter V-8 engine with a heart stopping 650 horsepower, incredible suspension modifications. Whiplash is what comes to mind when you consider that the car goes from 0-62 mph in just 3.6 seconds. If you were unaware, the number “722” refers to British racer Stirling Moss and co-driver Denis Jenkinson, who piloted a Mercedes 300 SLR to victory in 1955.

When originally sold there were only 150 of these 722 Editions built. In 2007 they went with a price tag of $480,000, but the dealership in Houston is asking $625,000 for this beast of a machine. Could it be the cost has something to do with the exclusivity of the model itself or its celebrity status. Either way, this car is bound to catch air!
